Modest Mouse will embark on an extensive tour this summer that continues into the fall. The excursion comes in support of The Golden Casket, a new album due June 25th via Epic Records that the band previewed by unveiling the single “Leave A Light On” today.

Isaac Brock and company kick off the tour after an appearance at Lollapalooza with stops in Madison on July 30, Columbus on August 3, Philadelphia on August 5 and Boston on August 6. From there, Modest Mouse plays additional August shows in Cooperstown (New York), New Haven, Brooklyn, Washington D.C., Pittsburgh, Detroit, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Missoula, Portland (Oregon) and Bend (Oregon).

Modest Mouse resumes the tour at Marymoor Park in Seattle on September 11 with support from Future Islands. The band then visits San Francisco, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Tucson, San Diego, Pioneertown (California), Los Angeles and Sandy (Utah) later in September before teaming with Future Islands at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado on September 28 and at Diamond Ballroom in Oklahoma City on September 30. Sets at both weekends of the Austin City Limits Music Festival will be split by shows in Nashville on October 4 and Cincinnati on October 5.

Brock and the band conclude the jaunt with October dates in the south, including stops in Huntsville (Alabama), New Orleans, Orlando, Miami Beach, St. Petersburg, St. Augustine, Richmond, Raleigh and Asheville. Tickets for all headlining dates go on sale this Wednesday, May 26 at 10 a.m. local time.

The Golden Casket marks Modest Mouse’s seventh full-length studio album and first since 2015’s Strangers To Ourselves. Dave Sardy and Jacknife Lee produced the 12-track LP which was recorded in Los Angeles and at the group’s Portland, Oregon studio. “[‘Leave A Light On’] finds Brock navigating the existential threat of losing our humanity – and the interconnectedness that come with it – amidst a constant societal barrage of physical and digital materialism,” as per a press release.
