Minus the Bear expanded their Menos El Oso 20th Anniversary Tour with six additional shows. The newly announced dates come in response to “overwhelming fan support” for the band’s first tour in seven years.

The mathrock veterans have added second performances in Austin on October 16, Washington D.C. on November 4 and New York City on November 9. Additionally, the tour now includes first-time stops in New Orleans on October 19 and Lawrence (Kansas) on November 19, plus a third hometown show in Seattle on November 26.

The Seattle-bred quintet will perform their 2005 album from front to back at each stop. Minus The Bear will launch the tour on October 4 in Portland, Oregon and are slated to conclude the trek with a three-night stand in their hometown of Seattle at the end of November.

Tickets for the New Orleans, Washington D.C., Lawrence, and New York City shows are available now through a fan pre-sale with the password MENOS20YEARS, followed by a general on-sale this Friday. Tickets for the newly added Austin and Seattle performances are on sale now to the general public.
