Minus The Bear Outlines Reunion Tour

Minus the Bear will reunite this fall to embark on their first tour in seven years this fall. The 28-date trek will feature full performances of the band’s 2005 album, Menos el Oso, celebrating the record’s 20th anniversary.

Minus the Bear was formed in Seattle in 2001. The Seattle-bred outfit released six albums before breaking up in 2018. Last week, the band announced they would regroup to co-headline the Best Friends Forever festival in Las Vegas and today rolled out a comprehensive tour, including multiple two-night stands.

The tour kicks off in Portland on October 4 at Roseland Theater. Minus The Bear will then head to California for performances in Sacramento on October 6 at Ace of Spades and San Francisco on October 7 at Regency Ballroom. The band continues to San Diego on October 8 at The Observatory North Park before the aforementioned appearance at Las Vegas’ Best Friends Forever festival on October 10.

Minus the Bear will play two nights in Los Angeles on October 11 and 12 at The Belasco. The band then performs in Tempe (Arizona) on October 14 at Marquee Theatre. The tour continues in Texas with shows in Dallas on October 17 at Granada Theater and Austin on October 18 at Emo’s Austin.

The band heads to the Southeast with performances in Orlando on October 21 at The Beacham and in Atlanta on October 22 at Masquerade. Minus The Bear then travels to Philadelphia on October 24 at The Fillmore and Boston on October 25 at House of Blues.

After a brief break, the tour resumes in Washington D.C. on November 5 at 9:30 Club. The band will perform in Brooklyn on November 7 at Brooklyn Steel followed by a show in New York on November 8 at Irving Plaza. The tour continues in Pittsburgh on November 11 at Roxian Theatre and Cleveland on November 12 at House of Blues.

Minus the Bear makes their way to Detroit on November 14 at Majestic Theatre before a two-night stand in Chicago on November 15 and 16 at Metro. The band performs in Minneapolis on November 18 at First Avenue before heading to Denver for another two-night run on November 21 and 22 at Ogden Theatre. The tour continues in Salt Lake City on November 23 at The Depot.

The extensive tour concludes with a hometown finale in Seattle, where Minus the Bear will perform two shows on November 28 and 29 at The Showbox.
