Mike Gordon Sits In With Phil Lesh At Terrapin Crossroads

Phish bassist Mike Gordon isn’t one to take the rare opportunities on tour to rest. Last night, during his only night off in a span of six shows, Cactus headed to Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael, CA to sit in with old friend Phil Lesh and the Terrapin All-Stars.

Terrapin Crossroads was hosting a birthday celebration for Jerry Garcia dubbed “Jerry’s Birthday House Party.” The show took place on the venue’s back porch and ran late into the evening. Phil’s band for last night’s performance consisted of his son Grahame, Neal Casal, Boo Reiners, Stu Allen, Tony Leone and Emily Sunderland. Gordon emerged early in the set sporting a Fender Precision Bass and singing lead on “Tennessee Jed” and “He’s Gone.” The main set consisted only of Garcia songs.
