Longtime collaborators singer-songwriter Mike Doughty and bassist Andrew “Scrap” Livingston joined forces under the Ghost Of Vroom moniker for the project’s debut full-length album. Ghost Of Vroom 1, which features lead single “I Hear The Ax Swinging,” is set for release March 19 via Mod y Vi Records.
Mike Doughty co-produced the 11-track LP with Mario Caldato Jr. Doughty and Livingston assembled in Memphis to record Ghosts Of Vroom 1 and completed work in Los Angeles at Caldato’s Eagle Rock facility just days before California was locked down due to the pandemic. The pair released the three-song EP Ghost Of Vroom 2 last summer.
