Award-winning fiddler Michael Cleveland continues to preview his forthcoming new album, Lovin' Of The Game, with the release of his take on “For Your Love.” Guitarist/vocalist Billy Strings stars on the cover of Joe Ely’s 1988 country hit, which also features multi-instrumentalist/producer Jeff White.

The guest-filled Lovin’ Of The Game is set for release on March 3 through Compass Records. The 12-track effort includes appearances from Strings, White, Béla Fleck, Charlie Starr, The Travelin’ McCourys and Vince Gill, among others.

Co-produced by Cleveland, White and Sean Sullivan, Lovin’ Of The Game marks Michael’s sixth studio album. “People know me as a traditional bluegrass fiddle player, which is what I love to do,” said Cleveland, “but this album is more than just the pure tradition. It’s a little bit of a departure for me.” The latest single follows previously issued album tracks “Sunny Days (Are Comin’ Once Again)” and “The Lovin’ Of The Game.”

Billy Strings handles lead vocals on “For Your Love” and tears it up with an alluring call-and-response with his guitar and Cleveland’s fiddle. White’s banjo lies underneath Strings and Cleveland’s handiwork. Stream Michael Cleveland’s “For Your Love,” which was premiered by American Songwriter:
