Metallica Announces August 2022 Concerts In Buffalo & Pittsburgh
The concerts mark the band’s first stadium shows in the cities since 1992.

Metallica announced their lone summer stadium concerts of 2022 in the U.S. The legendary metal band will play Highmark Stadium in Buffalo on August 11 and Pittsburgh’s PNC Park on August 14. Greta Van Fleet and Ice Nine Kills will open both shows.
Tickets for both concerts go on sale to the general public next Friday, March 4 at 10 a.m. ET. Pre-sale tickets go up for grabs on Monday, February 28 starting at 9 a.m. ET for Legacy Fan Club members and 11 a.m. ET for General Fan Club members. Find links below:

Metallica last played Highmark Stadium, which was known as Rich Stadium at the time, back on July 25, 1992. The Rock & Roll Hall Of Famers’ previous stadium show in Pittsburgh took place at Three Rivers Stadium on July 26, 1992. Next up for the band is a performance at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium on Friday night.
