Members Of Umphrey’s McGee & Aqueous To Present ‘Dookie’ Set At Brooklyn Comes Alive
By Scott Bernstein Aug 10, 2017 • 1:57 pm PDT

Earlier this summer, members of Aqueous and Umphrey’s McGee teamed up to perform songs from Green Day’s Dookie LP as well as other ’90s classics at the Summer Camp Music Festival. Next month, UM’s Kris Myers and Ryan Stasik will reunite with Aqueous guitarist Mike Gantzer for another Dookie tribute set at Brooklyn Comes Alive.
The 2017 installment of Brooklyn Comes Alive will take place at three venues in Williamsburg within walking distance of each other: Brooklyn Bowl, The Hall At MP and Music Hall Of Williamsburg. Over 100 musicians will come together in various lineups to play sets spanning from bunch performances to late night affairs between September 23 – 24.
The Dookie tribute announcement comes after BCA organizers previously detailed tributes to The Allman Brothers Band and Jamiroquai as well as an Eric Krasno & Friends performance and a set from George Porter Jr., Henry Butler and Johnny Vidacovich. Stay tuned for additional Brooklyn Comes Alive announcements.
Tickets are on sale now via Eventbrite.
