Medeski Martin & Wood Announce Remaining Headlining Dates Of Fall

This year avant-jazz trio Medeski Martin & Wood celebrate 25 years together. The band had already announced three 25th anniversary shows in New York City and an appearance at the Hangtown Music Festival in Placerville, California. Today, keyboardist John Medeski, drummer Billy Martin and bassist Chris Wood have confirmed two additional shows, which along with Hangtown and the NYC performances are expected to be MMW’s only dates this fall.

Medeski Martin & Wood have announced two shows in Cleveland at On Air Studio on Friday, November 18 and Saturday, November 19. For each show, the core trio will be joined by special guests and lifelong collaborators: guitarist Marc Ribot, trumpeter Steven Bernstein and percussionist Cyro Baptista. Turntablists DJ Logic and DJ Olive are also on the bill.

“I couldn’t be more excited to celebrate our 25th anniversary in Cleveland,” said Martin. “We have so many friends who’ll be able to join us in the Midwest.” Tickets for Medeski Martin & Wood’s two night stand in Cleveland go on sale at 10 a.m. ET on Friday, September 16.
