Meadows Festival Announces Inaugural Lineup

The inaugural Meadows Music & Arts Festival will be held October 1 and 2 at Citi Field complex in Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens, New York. Today, organizers Founders Entertainment have revealed the 42 acts who will perform across the fest’s four stages at the all new event.

Headlining the 2016 Meadows Music & Arts Festival will be Kanye West and The Weeknd. Additional performers includes Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, Charles Bradley & His Extraordinaires, Chance The Rapper, Grimes, Savages, BØRNS, Metric, Empire of the Sun, Chromeo, Kamasi Washington, Sylvan Esso and many others. West’s appearance was confirmed after his Governors Ball set was canceled earlier this month. All previous Governors Ball ticket buyers will get an emailed promo code for access to a special presale that starts tomorrow, Wednesday June 22 at 11 a.m. ET. General tickets sales begin the following day, June 23 at 11 a.m. ET.

Meadows Fest will also prominently feature local food and beverage options, including a number of specially crafted cocktails. Head here for more information and view the full lineup below.
