McLovins Cover Wilco’s ‘Either Way’

In recent years, Hartford, Connecticut-based jam quartet McLovins have developed a collection of original songs, including releasing a self-titled 12-track LP last October. After forming as teenagers in 2008, the group garnered viral attention for their spot-on covers and they recently showed they still have a talent for interpretation by taking on a song originally performed by Wilco.

Last June, drummer Jake Huffman, bassist Jason Ott, guitarist Justin Berger and keyboardist Atticus Kelly assembled at the South Windsor, Connecticut studios of microphone manufacturer TELEFUNKEN – where they recorded a cover of the Grateful Dead’s “West L.A. Fadeaway” for the JamBase Song Of Their Own series last year – to lay down a version of “Either Way” by Wilco. First appearing on Wilco’s 2007 album Sky Blue Sky, the result of the session can be seen and heard in the video for “Either Way” below:
