Margo Price Performs On ‘Sound Opinions’

An upcoming episode of Sound Opinions will feature singer-songwriter Margo Price joining hosts Greg Kot and Jim DeRogatis. Another video capturing a portion of the interview and live performance has been made available.

Price’s session took place on April 13 at Goose Island Barrel House in Chicago. Footage surfaced yesterday of her performing the unreleased original “1-800-JESUS” while backed Price’s husband Jeremy Ivey on guitar and harmonica and Luke Schneider playing dobro.

Prior to playing a portion of “Desperate And Depressed,” Price detailed her first time meeting Jack White. The song appeared on Price’s 2016 debut album Midwest Farmer’s Daughter which White’s label Third Man Records released.
