performed a private concert at Third Man Records’ Blue Room in Nashville on Saturday. Bobby and company welcomed Margo Price for Grateful Dead-related covers from Johnny Cash and Bob Dylan as well as a GD classic.
Third Man Records recently released Bob Weir and Wolf Bros’ Live In Colorado album, their first collection of recorded material, and Bobby thanked the vinyl championing label led by Jack White in a social media post, “…these folks get it,” he wrote. The Third Man play came on the heels off an eventful week in Tennessee for Weir who recently joined Sammy Hagar at the Ryman Auditorium, kicked off his spring tour with shows at the Ryman (with special guest Price and more) and in Memphis (the latter seeing the Wolf Bros debut of the iconic Elvis Presley tune “Jailhouse Rock”) and also joined JD Souther near Nashville on Friday.

The show — which featured most of the songs included on Live In Colorado — got underway with “New Speedway Boogie.” Price then presided over the first of a few in-between-song Q&As. “My Brother Esau” followed before Margo got in on the music for Johnny Cash’s “Big River.”
Price stuck around for GD’s “West L.A. Fadeaway” and would duet with Bobby on Dylan’s early epic “A Hard Rain’s A-Gonna Fall.” Next came the beloved Dead tune “Ripple.” The classic pairing of “Lost Sailor” and “Saint Of Circumstance” closed out the set. Bob Weir and Wolf Bros delivered another famed Dead pairing, “China Cat Sunflower” and “I Know You Rider” as the encore.
