The guitarist hits the road in support of Young Blood, a studio album due out on August 26 via Rick Rubin’s American Records/Republic Records. “This fall tour is going to be our biggest one YET,” noted Marcus King in a press release. “It has been a long time in the making, playing some of our favorite venues in the country bringing a FULL night of Rock n Roll, love and laughs! Can’t wait to bring this show to your town.”
The Met in Philadelphia hosts the tour opener on September 9. Stops include two-night stands at such famed venues at New York City’s Beacon Theatre, The Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Atlanta’s The Tabernacle and The Neptune Theatre in Seattle. King will also bring the excursion to Washington D.C., Boston, Columbus, Louisville, Toronto, Pittsburgh, Austin, Los Angeles, San Francisco and many other cities before concluding the run at The Fillmore New Orleans on October 27.

“Hard Working Man” is the lead single for Young Blood. The 11-track LP follows 2020’s El Dorado, which like Young Blood was produced by Dan Auerbach. King and Auerbach recruited drummer Chris St. Hilaire and bassist Nick Movshon to back Marcus on an LP recorded at Dan’s Easy Eye Sound facility during the summer of 2021.
Inspired by filmmaker Quentin Tarantino, the “Hard Working Man” video stars Marcus King and was premiered by Relix. View the visual below:
