Marcus King Band Announces ‘Goes To School’ Spring Tour 2025
The guitarist and his band will focus on college towns between April 2 and May 11.

Marcus King will return to the road in 2025 with his band on the “Marcus King Band Goes To School: The Tour” across North America. The Marcus King Band's headline jaunt kicks off on April 2 in Durham (North Carolina) and concludes on May 11 in Wichita (Kansas).
“Me and the fellas are bringing this party to college towns all over the country this spring,” wrote King of the trek on social media. “And, we’ve got our new pals Dogpark along for the ride. Come tailgate with us and maybe catch some brand new tunes? You’re not gonna wanna miss it.”

The tour begins at Durham Performing Arts Center before heading to Savannah (Georgia) on April 3. Marcus King Band then performs at the Tortuga Music Festival in Fort Lauderdale on April 4. Next up is Jacksonville on April 6 and Pensacola on April 8.
The band continues to Charlottesville (Virginia) on April 11, followed by shows in Boone (North Carolina) on April 12 and Mount Vernon (Kentucky) on April 13. The tour proceeds to Gulfport (Mississippi) on April 17 before a performance at Atlanta’s Sweetwater 420 Festival on April 18. April concludes with stops in Wilmington (North Carolina) on April 19, Oxford (Mississippi) on April 24, Fort Worth on April 26 and Montgomery (Alabama) on April 29.
The final leg of the tour brings Marcus King Band to Grand Junction (Colorado) on May 9 before wrapping up at The Cotillion Ballroom in Wichita on May 11.
Tickets for all new dates go on sale to the general public on Friday, December 20 at 9 a.m. local time. Pre-sale tickets can be purchased tomorrow, Tuesday, December 17 at 9 a.m. local time using RUSHMKB as the password.
