Marco Benevento Shares ‘Say It’s All The Same’ Single & Adds December 2019 Tour

Marco Benevento shared a new single for “Say It’s All The Same” from his upcoming album Let It Slide due out September 20 via Royal Potato Family. The song features backing vocals from bassist Karina Rykman along with drums from Dave Butler

“Say It’s All The Same” is the second single from Let It Slide. Benevento announced the album in June and shared the title track. For the first time in his solo career, Benevento worked with an outside producer in Leon Michaels. Michael’s guidance gave Benevento the freedom to experiment — the pianist used gaffer tape on his piano stings to give a muted tone — and focus on lyrics and composition.

“Say It’s All The Same” and its accompanying video premiered on Flood where Benevento spoke about the new tune, stating, “It’s a sweet, easy summertime dance track that’ll have you feelin’ good in no time…like a bouquet of fresh-cut flowers.”

Benevento will support the LP with previously announced tours of the Northeast in October and the Midwest in November as well as a newly confirmed West Coast run scheduled for December. Marco Benevento, Karina Rykman and drummer Andy Borger kick off the West Coast jaunt with a series of concerts in California, including stops in San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Felton, Mill Valley and Arcata. The trio then heads to Oregon for shows in Eugene, Bend and Portland. The tour is currently slated to end at The Crocodile in Seattle on December 14.
