Marco And TigerFace Band Unknowingly Star In New Pixies Video

Yesterday, alt-rock icons The Pixies announced a tour and unveiled the video for “Andro Queen” -the opening track off the recently released EP1. If you look at the Ondi Timoner-directed video you might notice some familiar folks. 
The “Andro Queen” video stars none other than Marco Benevento and his TigerFace band including former Ween bassist Dave Dreiwitz. Much of the footage features the members of Marco’s ensemble donning the TigerFace mask they’ve been taking along from show to show. The footage was filmed earlier this year at Pick-A-Thon and according to his rep, Benevento didn’t know the performance was being filmed or that he would wind up in the video. Take a look:
