The Magpie Salute Extends 2017 Tour

Earlier this year Black Crowes alums Rich Robinson, Sven Pipien and Marc Ford debuted their new band, The Magpie Salute. There will be plenty of chances to see the group in action this year as The Magpie Salute has just added over a dozen dates to an already extensive tour.

The Magpie Salute lineup also includes Rich Robinson Band drummer Joe Magistro and keyboardist Matt Slocum, as well as guitarist Nico Bereciartua, vocalist John Hogg and backing vocalists Charity White, Adrien Reju and Katrine Ottosen. On June 9 the band will issue their self-titled debut album via Eagle Rock Entertainment.

Up first for The Magpie Salute are a series of gigs in Europe this June and early July. The band then kicks off a U.S. Tour at the Vogue in Indianapolis on July 26 ahead of two nights in Chicago. From there, Rich Robinson & Co. will play Buffalo, Boston, Hartford, Hampton Beach, Portland, New Bedford, Red Bank, Scranton, Silver Spring, Huntington, Charlotte, Raleigh, Atlanta, Myrtle Beach, Asheville, Cincinnati, Louisville, Nashville and Chattanooga through the end of August. The Magpie Salute focuses on the West Coast in September and are currently scheduled to end the tour at the TLA in Philadelphia on November 11.
