Denver-based bluegrass quartet Magoo shared a new single, “Can’t You Hear That Train.” The track is bound for the string band’s debut album, What A Life, scheduled for a February 27 release.
Magoo announced their premiere LP in November and also shared the single “Angel Of Telluride” featuring bluegrass great Sam Bush. The band is back in 2026 with the fresh cut, “Can’t You Hear That Train.”
“‘Can’t You Hear That Train’ started as a classic train song–Your girl is leaving on a train and there’s nothing you can do about it. I wrote it about five years ago and just let it sit,” guitarist Erik Hill said.
The song is already road tested and one of the band’s favorites to play.
“When I pulled it back out last Spring and played it for the band, that’s when it really came alive and the jam found its way in,” Erik added. “We always have a lot of fun playing the song live.”
