Lucy Dacus & Chappell Roan Join Heart’s Ann Wilson On ‘After Dinner Thinks’ Podcast

Lucy Dacus and Chappell Roan were the latest guests on Ann Wilson‘s After Dinner Thinks podcast. The Heart frontwoman and her fellow singer-songwriters convened backstage following a Heart concert in Los Angeles.

Ann and Nancy Wilson brought Heart to Crypto.com Arena on March 3. After attending the concert, Roan and Dacus headed backstage to chat with Ann Wilson in her dressing room. Among the musical topics of conversation was Roan covering the Heart classic “Barracuda” at the 2024 Austin City Limits Festival, with Roan noting it was her “favorite song.”

“You’re rockin’ mama! I’m rockin’ because you rockin’, really, truly,” Roan said of Wilson. She also praised Wilson’s iconic voice. “I think you have the best voice in rock.”

Dacus noted how rock ‘n’ roll artists today just aren’t made like they were in the ‘70s.

“Y’all are just ‘bees,’ you’re not wannabes… they’re trying to be you,” she said.
