Lotus Announces April 2021 Concerts At Red Rocks

By Scott Bernstein Mar 30, 2021 11:38 am PDT

Livetronica act Lotus will kick off the 2021 season at iconic Morrison, Colorado venue Red Rocks Amphitheatre. The quintet returns to Red Rocks for two sets each night on Friday, April 23 and Saturday, April 24.

State officials approved Red Rocks hosting up to 2,500 guests at each event as per the venue’s Twitter feed. “We’re so excited about the imminent return of live music to #RedRocksCO, and look forward to welcoming you back for a fantastic 80th anniversary summer,” reads a note from venue operators.

Safety protocols in place for events at Red Rocks are laid out here. The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment shared projections last month that live events could be held at 75 – 80% capacity by July if COVID-19 cases continue to decline.

Lotus played a limited-capacity concert at Red Rocks last September. The April performances mark the band’s first live, in-person shows of 2021. Tickets go on sale this Friday, April 2 at 10 a.m. MT via AXS.com (April 23, April 24).
