Liz Phair Releases ‘In There’ Single

Liz Phair released a new single, “In There.” The song will appear on Phair’s upcoming album, Soberish, due out on June 4 through Chrysalis Records.
Phair announced Soberish — her first album of original material in 11 years since 2010’s Funstyle — in April and shared the single, “Spanish Doors.” The singer-songwriter had previously released Soberish track “Hey Lou” in February, a tribute to the romance between Lou Reed and Laurie Anderson.

Phair now follows with “In There.” A press release described the new track as “a percolating, simmering song about vulnerability, with the sort of incredible wordplay and melodies that only Phair can create.”
