Little Feat Details ‘Waiting For Columbus’ 45th Anniversary Fall Tour 2022

Little Feat extended their Waiting For Columbus 45th Anniversary Tour into the fall. The newly confirmed tour dates span September 19 through December 15 and will include a complete performance of the iconic 1978 live album at each stop.

While Waiting For Columbus was released in 1978, the famed double album was recorded in 1977. A super deluxe reissue will arrive on July 29 via Rhino Records and includes three previously unreleased concerts. Longtime members keyboardist Bill Payne, bassist Kenny Gradney, percussionist Sam Clayton and multi-instrumentalist Fred Tackett are joined in the current Little Feat lineup by recent additions drummer Tony Leone and guitarist Scott Sharrard.

Little Feat starts the fall leg at Count Basie Center For The Arts in Red Bank, New Jersey on September 19. Additional Northeast tour dates follow in Port Chester, New York (September 20); Boston (September 21); Kingston, New York (September 23); Burlington, Vermont (September 24) and Buffalo (September 27). It’s then off to Munhall, Pennsylvania on September 28 and Fort Wayne, Indiana on September 30.

October begins for Little Feat in Iowa City, Iowa (October 1). Next up are stops in St. Paul, Minnesota (October 2); Madison, Wisconsin (October 4); Royal Oak, Michigan (October 5) and Huntsville, Alabama (October 8). The tour is currently slated to pick up after six weeks off in Wichita, Kansas on November 28. Little Feat then hits Tulsa, Oklahoma (November 29); Fort Smith, Arkansas (December 1); Robinsonville, Mississippi (December 2); Austin, Texas (December 4); Midland, Texas (December 5); Tucson, Arizona (December 7) and Spokane, Washington (December 13) before concluding the tour in Boise, Idaho (December 15).

Miko Marks, James Maddock and Nicki Bluhm each support at select dates. Pre-sale tickets for most shows will be available starting next Tuesday, June 7 before general on-sales next Friday, June 10 and Friday, June 17 at 10 a.m. local times. Find links to purchase below:
