Little Feat‘s Can’t Be Satisifed Summer Tour came to Cincinnati last night for a concert at PNC Pavilion at Riverbend. Los Lobos kicked off the festivities and members of the rock band from East L.A. sat in with Little Feat at various points of their headlining set.

The current Little Feat lineup consisting of longtime members Sam Clayton on percussion, keyboardist Bill Payne, bassist Kenny Gradney and multi-instrumentalist Fred Tackett joined by more recent additions guitarist Scott Sharrard and drummer Tony Leone loaded the setlist with classics. A parade of special guests started after the band reeled off “Fat Man In The Bathtub,” “All That You Dream,” “Oh Atlanta” and “Old Folks Boogie” to begin their set.

Los Lobos saxophonist Steve Berlin added to a combo of “Spanish Moon” and “Skin It Back.” Scott Sharrard sang the former with Tony Leone handling lead vocals on the latter. Berlin took a solo during “Spanish Moon” added accents to the “Skin It Back” that followed.

Hidalgo and LoBue accompanied the sextet on the Little Milton-penned blues number “Mellow Down Easy.” Michael LoBue stuck around and Cesar Rosas came out for the ensuing “A Apolitical Blues” that encompassed a cover of Muddy Waters’ “Long Distance Call.”
