Kitchen Dwellers and Lindsay Lou are gearing up to hit the road together starting next weekend. The Montana-based string band and Michigan-bred singer-songwriter gave fans a taste of what to expect by sharing video featuring a collaborative cover of Robert Johnson’s “Come On In My Kitchen” filmed in a van.
The acoustic rendition was captured in Denver on January 13 before both acts took part in Denver Comes Alive at Mission Ballroom. Cole Mitchek shot and edited the clip, which was inspired by Nicki Bluhm & The Gramblers’ Van Session videos, for the smallsongs series.

Lindsay Lou provided gorgeous lead vocals for the intimate performance of the blues song first released by Robert Johnson in 1937. Kitchen Dwellers banjoist Torrin Daniels and mandolinist Torrin Daniels each picked fine solos accompanied by Max Davies on acoustic guitar and Joe Funk on high harmonies while driving the van.
