Lil Wayne Plans ‘Tha Carter VI’ Release Party Concert At Madison Square Garden
The rapper’s highly anticipated album coincides with his first headlining show at the famed New York City arena.

Lil Wayne’s long-awaited album, Tha Carter VI, will be released on Friday, June 6. The rapper will commemorate the release of the highly anticipated album with a celebratory concert at Madison Square Garden.
The album release party will be Lil Wayne’s first time headlining MSG. Tickets to the concert go on sale on Friday, April 25 at 10 a.m. ET. Presale tickets become available on Wednesday, April 23.
Lil Wayne’s last solo album was 2020’s Funeral, which followed 2018’s Tha Carter V. He teamed with 2 Chainz on the 2003 collaborative LP, Welcome 2 Collegrove.
