Lewis Capaldi Announces 2025 U.K. & Ireland Tour After Emotional Glastonbury Return

In 2023, Lewis Capaldi cut short his performance at Glastonbury in a moving scene that saw the crowd supportively singing along while his Tourette’s syndrome hampered his performance. The Scottish singer-songwriter subsequently took a break from touring to focus on his health and well-being.

“I genuinely dreamt of doing this,” Capaldi said at the end of his truncated Glastonbury 2023 appearance. “If I never get to do it again, this has been enough.”

Capaldi was able to do it again at this weekend’s fest, appearing as one of the surprise performers at Glastonbury 2025. His drastically different experiences two years apart were contrasted in the footage Capaldi shared after making his heartfelt Glastonbury return.

The surprise Glastonbury set at the Pyramid Stage consisted of “Before You Go,” “Bruises,” “Grace,” “Hold Me While You Wait” and “Someone You Loved” from Capaldi’s 2019 debut album, Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent. He also performed the song “Forget Me” from his 2023 sophomore LP, Broken by Desire to Be Heavenly Sent.

Capaldi’s newly released single, titled “Survive,” was also part of his unannounced Glastonbury set.

Capaldi confirmed a 10-show tour spanning the month of September with support from Skye Newman and Aaron Rowe on select dates. Capaldi kicks off the tour in England on September 7 in Sheffield before heading to Aberdeen on September 11. The tour continues to his native Scotland for a show on September 13 in Glasgow. The singer-songwriter heads on to London for concerts on September 17 and 18.

On September 20, Lewis Capaldi performs in Manchester before landing to Birmingham on September 23. The tour then moves to Nottingham on September 26 and Cardiff on September 27. Capaldi concludes the run on September 29 in Dublin, Ireland.

Tickets to Lewis Capaldi’s September 2025 Tour dates go on sale on Thursday, July 10.
