Lettuce shared a video for their new song, “Funkin’ From Home.” The six-piece funk outfit — guitarist Adam “Shmeeans” Smirnoff, keyboardist Nigel Hall, drummer Adam Deitch, bassist Erick “Jesus” Coomes, saxophonist Ryan Zoidis and trumpeter Eric “Benny” Bloom — recorded the song and video from their individual homes.
The stand-alone “Funkin’ From Home” follows previously released album singles, “Checker Wrecker” and “NDUGU.” Those songs will appear on Lettuce’s upcoming album, Resonate. The video for “Funkin’ From Home” comes amidst the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic and features a special at-home jam session from the band.
