lespecial Announces Primus Tribute Livestream Concert

Next Month, lespecial will honor Primus with a complete performance of the latter’s Frizzle Fry LP. The “lespecial plays Frizzle Fry” livestream concert airs Friday, March 12 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on the JamBase Livestreams Calendar via the band’s YouTube and Facebook pages.

Primus released their debut studio album, Frizzle Fry, in 1990. The 13-track LP includes such beloved favorites as “Too Many Puuppies,” “John The Fisherman,” “Harold Of The Rocks” and the title track.

The groove-oriented lespecial consists of bassist Luke Bemand, drummer Rory Dolan and multi-instrumentalist/vocalist Jonny Grusauskas. lespecial’s free livestream concert will be presented by Stowe Cider.

lespecial issued their latest studio album, Ancient Homies, in December. Bemand discusses Primus on the two most recent episodes of a podcast dedicated to the group, Primus Tracks.
