[UPDATED] Les Claypool’s Bastard Jazz Plots July 2022 Concerts In Oakland
Both early and late shows will be held at Yoshi’s on July 25 and 26.

Early and late shows on July 25 have been added after tickets for July 26th sold out. The article has been revised to note the additional concerts.
Les Claypool‘s Bastard Jazz will play early and late shows on both July 25 and 26 at Yoshi’s in Oakland. The concerts on the 25th were added “due to overwhelming demand” once tickets for the 26th sold out. Purchase tickets for the 8 p.m. concert on July 25 or the 10 p.m. concert on July 25.
The Primus bassist is joined in the quartet by drummer Stanton Moore, percussionist Mike Dillon and saxophonist Skerik. Claypool will first bring the group to New Orleans’ Orpheum Theater during Jazz Fest on April 28.
Primus returns to the road on April 15 to start a busy year of touring. The trio will once again honor Rush by performing their iconic 1977 studio album, A Farewell To Kings, at each stop along with a set of originals.
