Lenny Kravitz To Headline Final Day Of New Orleans Jazz Fest

When the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival 2015 lineup was announced last month, there was a big question mark a top the lineup for the event’s final day -Sunday, May 3. There have been numerous articles written that tried to predict just who would be added to the lineup. Today, we’ve learned that Lenny Kravitz will fill that slot and will headline Sunday of the second weekend of Jazz Fest.

Kravitz joins a Jazz Fest ’15 lineup that features headliners Widespread Panic, Ryan Adams, Elton John, The Who and Wilco as well as dozens of local, national and international acts. The wide-ranging lineup also includes the likes of Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, No Doubt, Jimmy Buffett, Lady Gaga & Tony Bennett, Chicago, Jimmy Buffett, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Dumpstaphunk With Ivan Neville and Buddy Guy. The Meters are back to perform at the fest and Galactic will be joined by Macy Gray. Another exciting performance will be Dr. John interpreting the music of Louis Armstrong.
