Leftover Salmon played the famed Ryman Auditorium in Nashville on Thursday night where they welcomed Sam Bush and Lindsay Lou as well as Adam Greuel and Samuel Odin of Horseshoes and Hand Grenades for a tribute to Jeff Austin. Leftover Salmon & Friends performed the Grateful Dead’s “China Doll” in honor of Austin, who died earlier this week.

Leftover Salmon’s Vince Herman shared a touching musical tribute to Austin shortly after news of his passing. Prior to “China Doll,” LoS bassist Greg Garrison addressed the audience at The Ryman, describing his friendship with Austin with whom he grew up with in the Chicago suburbs. Leftover Salmon’s summer tour continues as they return to their home state of Colorado to play Red Rocks on July 4 with Blues Traveler and Jackie Greene.
