LCD Soundsystem’s concert last night at Brooklyn Steel featured their first public performance of “One Touch,” a song from their 2010 album, This Is Happening. The show was the band’s 60th at Brooklyn Steel and kicked off their Tri Boro Tour that will see them also performing at Terminal 5 in Manhattan and at Knockdown Center in Queens.
Frontman James Murphy led the group through a main set that pulled from their 2005 self-titled debut album, its 2007 follow-up, Sound of Silver and their most recent full-length release, 2017’s American Dream.

The first encore on Thursday included a rarely played cover of Harry Nilsson’s “Jump Into the Fire.” When LCD Soundsystem came back for a second encore, they began with the “One Touch” debut. The premiere purportedly leaves “Somebody’s Calling Me” as the only song of the nine on This Is Happening that has not made it to the live stage.
