LCD Soundsystem Makes ‘Saturday Night Live’ Debut

Last night LCD Soundsystem made their Saturday Night Live debut alongside actor Chris Pine. The indie dance-rock act used the opportunity to perform a pair of new songs that they released as singles this past week.

First up for James Murphy & Co. was a take on the anthemic, U2-inspired song “Call The Police,” while later in the show they performed the swirling, down-tempo track “American Dream.”
