Larkin Poe explore being “present, mindful and in the moment” with the release of their latest single, “Little Bit.” The track appears on the duo’s forthcoming studio album, Bloom, which is set for arrival on January 24 through their label, Tricki-Woo Records.
Larkin Poe – the Georgia-born, Nashville-based multi-instrumentalist sisters Rebecca Lovell and Megan Lovell – recorded Bloom as the follow-up to their 2022 album, Blood Harmony, which earned the Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Blues Album. Presenting 11 new songs, including previously shared singles “If God Is A Woman,” “Bluephoria” and “Mockingbird,” Bloom was co-produced and largely co-written by Rebecca, Megan and Rebecca’s husband Tyler Bryant.

Rebecca Lovell sings lyrics about “being present, mindful and in the moment” on the newly shared single, “Little Bit.” Speaking about the track, she stated:
“From the word go, it feels like we’ve been tempted to live life leaning forward. As touring musicians, we have cultivated a pedal-to-the-metal, high-octane culture, but the shine has slowly worn off that penny. ‘Little Bit’ is all about slowing down and savoring the precious little details, as lyrics say: ‘more ain’t always more than a little bit.’”
“Little Bit” arrived with an accompanying official music video. Watch it below:
