Kung Fu & Guests To Re-Present Classic Steely Dan LP

UPDATE 4/8 8:30 a.m.: Kung Fu has announced moe. guitarist Al Schnier will be among the guests to perform The Royal Scam with them in New Orleans.

Back in December Kung Fu performed Steely Dan’s The Royal Scam in its entirety with the help of a bevy of special guests including current Steely Dan musical director Jon Herington in Connecticut. Kung Fu will perform The Royal Scam once again in New Orleans during Jazz Fest.

Kung Fu has tapped Steely Dan collaborator Bernard Purdie as well as Eric Bloom (Lettuce, Pretty Lights Live Band) and Natalie Cressman (Trey Anastasio Band) as their special guests to join them at The Joy Theater in New Orleans on April 29. Additional guests will be announced soon.
