Kimock Shares ‘While We Wait’ Single

Steve Kimock and bring back their KIMOCK project for the new single “While We Wait.” The band’s new track features Steve on lap steel, guitar and piano plus John on drums, kalimba, piano and synthesizers and Spencer Murphy on bass.

“While We Wait” was written by Steve and produced by John. Steve Kimock wrote the song after spending time with a friend who would soon pass away. Kimock explored unconventional soundscapes on the new song. “You cannot identify what you are hearing, which is really exciting to me. I try to run with the ‘UFO’ vibes and let that creep into the production,” John said in a statement. Steve praised his son’s production work by commenting, “I don’t know how he does it. He takes pieces I’ve done and creates something new…his process is fascinating.”
