Kim Gordon shared the title track from her upcoming album, PLAY ME, set for release on Friday, March 13 through Matador Records. The Sonic Youth co-founder also announced a slate of 2026 North American Summer Tour dates.

Gordon announced PLAY ME early this year, described in press materials as processing, “in Gordon’s inimitable way, the collateral damage of the billionaire class: the demolition of democracy, technocratic end-times fascism, the A.I.-fueled chill-vibes flattening of culture—where dark humor voices the absurdity of modern life.”

Kim heralded the new record with “NOT TODAY” followed by “DIRTY TECH” and now the album opener/title track “PLAY ME,” which carries currents of hip-hop and jazz. Watch the Barney Clay-directed music video below:

Joining a host of previously announced European dates, Gordon mapped out a North American tour around PLAY ME. Following a concert at Sid The Cat in Los Angeles on April 2, Kim will come to Chicago, Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Denver, Seattle, Portland, Vancouver and San Francisco in June and July.

Tickets for the new dates go on sale Friday, March 13 at 10 a.m. local.
