Julian Casablancas’ Side-Project The Voidz Release New Single

While The Strokes seem to be permanently stuck in a “will they, won’t they” status when it comes to releasing more new music, the band’s lead singer Julian Casablancas appears content with focussing his energy on his side-project The Voidz. The 1980s-influenced band (formerly known as Julian Casablancas + The Voidz) will put out their sophomore album, which is reportedly titled Virtue, this March. Today the Voidz have released a preview of what’s to come with their new single “Leave It In My Dreams.”

The nearly four-minute tune, which features Casablancas unmistakable vocals, features slinky-synth sounds based around a disco-groove. Listen to “Leave It In My Dreams” below:
