Jon Batiste and Nathaniel Rateliff teamed up for a special holiday performance on Thursday’s episode of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. The pair collaborated on a cover of Chuck Berry’s “Run Rudolph Run.”

The performance saw multiple versions of Batiste, who is The Late Show bandleader, as he simultaneously could be seen playing drums, piano and electric guitar. A pair of Rateliffs were also part of the composite rendition of the song Berry released in 1958, as he sang and played acoustic guitar, while also helping one of the Batistes keep time on drums.

Thursday was Rateliff’s second appearance on The Late Show this week. On Monday, Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats performed the title track to their recently issued album, The Future.
