John Prine Shares ‘Unwed Fathers’ Featuring Margo Price Charity Single

Legendary singer-songwriter John Prine reworked his song “Unwed Fathers” with special guests including Margo Price for a new single issued today. Proceeds from the track will go towards the American Civil Liberties Union.

Price’s husband, Jeremy Ivey as well as Kenneth Pattengale of The Milk Carton Kids also contributed to the new version. John Prine originally released “Unwed Fathers” on his 1984 album, Aimless Love. Prine assembled the musicians in his living room back in May and put out “Unwed Fathers” as the A-side of The Living Room Sessions.
