Acclaimed singer-songwriter John Prine was the musical guest on last night’s episode of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. Prine not only performed a song from his upcoming new album but also played a bonus rendition of one of his classics with the show’s host Stephen Colbert.

Tomorrow Prine’s guest-filled album of classic country songs For Better, Or Worse will be released on Oh Boy Records featuring such vocalists as Susan Tedeschi, Amanda Shires, Alison Krauss and others. The album also features Holly Williams who was at the Ed Sullivan Theater last night to accompany Prine on the album track “I’m Telling You” which was originally recorded in 1949 by her grandmother Audrey Willams.
