After a number of festival appearances, one-offs and dates in Europe over the years, John Medeski’s Mad Skillet are finally taking the show on the road in the U.S. The quartet will embark on their first U.S. Tour this fall.

Keyboardist John Medeski, guitarist Will Bernard, drummer Terence Higgins and sousaphone master Kirk Joseph originally put the band together for a late night during the 2015 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. The foursome begins their inaugural U.S. Tour with an appearance at UTOPiAfest in Burnet, Texas on November 3. John Medeski’s Mad Skillet then heads to the Midwest for shows in Michigan, Indiana, Illinois and Ohio.

John Medeski’s Mad Skillet follows the Midwest jaunt with a string of dates in the Northeast. Up first is a performance at Buffalo Iron Works in Buffalo on November 11. The band then heads to Boston, Cohoes (New York), Brooklyn, Ardmore (Pennsylvania) and Washington D.C. Medeski & Co. are currently slated to conclude the tour at Asbury Lanes in Asbury Park, New Jersey on November 18.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, August 24 at 10 a.m. local time.
