John Mayer Announces Columbia Records Departure After 21 Years

John Mayer is parting ways with longtime label Columbia Records. The announcement marks the guitarist and singer-songwriter’s departure from Columbia after 21 years.

Columbia Records has released John Mayer’s entire studio output so far beginning with his 2001 debut album Room For Squares through his most recent LP, Sob Rock, which arrived on July 16, 2021. Mayer took to social media to announce his departure from Columbia. Check out his post below:
