Guitarist John Mayer warned us he had a busy year in store and he sure wasn’t kidding. He’d already announced a tour with Dead & Company and the first leg of a Spring Tour. Now, Mayer has added 32 more North American dates to his jaunt in support of the upcoming The Search For Everything studio album.

As with other John Mayer shows already announced, the guitarist will break the newly added performances into three separate sets. He’ll play solo acoustic, lead a full band and perform with the John Mayer Trio each night. The summer leg revealed today starts at Isleta Amphitheater in Albuquerque, New Mexico on July 18. From there, he’ll end the month with visits to Denver, The Gorge, Portland, Anaheim, Sacramento, Shoreline and Los Angeles.

John Mayer will be on the road throughout the month of August. He’ll begin with a show on the 1st in Phoenix before heading to Texas for concerts in San Antonio, Dallas and Woodlands. A southern swing includes performances in Nashville, New Orleans, Atlanta, Fort Lauderdale, Tampa, Charlotte and Raleigh ahead of a Northeast run. The guitarist’s mid-August visit to the Northeast will feature stops in Camden, Holmdel, Hartford, Syracuse and Wantagh. Mayer is slated to end the tour with concerts in Virginia, Ohio, New York, Ontario, Michigan, Illinois and Indiana. Tickets for the new shows go on sale March 4.

John Mayer’s The Search For Everything is due April 14. Today, the guitarist unveiled four new songs from the LP. Stream a playlist that begins with the new tunes: “Emoji Of A Wave,” “Helpless,” “Still Feel Like Your Man” and “Roll It On Home”:
