Joe Russo’s Almost Dead Plans Spring 2024 Return To Idyllic Colorado Venues
Vail’s Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater and Red Rocks Amphitheatre near Denver will host the band on May 31 and June 1 respectively.

Joe Russo’s Almost Dead are slowly but surely unveiling their 2024 tour itinerary. Today, the Grateful Dead tribute act announced they will play a pair of scenic amphitheaters in Colorado next spring.
The band — namesake drummer Joe Russo, keyboardist Marco Benevento, bassist Dave Dreiwitz and guitarists Tom Hamilton and Scott Metzger — heads back to Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater in Vail on Friday, May 31. JRAD then returns to Red Rocks Amphitheatre outside Denver on Saturday, June 1.

Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater previously hosted Almost Dead on June 1 and 2, 2022. The band made their headlining debut at Red Rocks on August 31, 2017 after a slot opening for Umphrey’s McGee on July 3, 2016. Additional Joe Russo’s Almost Dead shows at the Morrison, Colorado venue took place on August 16, 2018; August 29, 2019; June 3 and 4, 2022 and on June 3, 2023.
General on-sales for tickets to both concerts begin this Friday, December 15 at 10 a.m. MT. An Artist Presale comes first at 10 a.m. MT on Wednesday, December 13. The password for the presale will be posted to Joe Russo’s Almost Dead’s Facebook page on Wednesday at 10 a.m. MT.
