This Friday and Saturday nights Grateful Dead tribute act Joe Russo’s Almost Dead will play The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York. If you can’t make it to The Cap on either night for JRAD, there’s an option to watch from home or wherever you have an internet connection. Also, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead has just unveiled pro-shot video from a November 2016 performance in the Bay Area.
nugs.tv will provide webcasts of Friday and Saturday’s JRAD concerts live from Port Chester. Both shows are expected to begin at 8 p.m. ET. The webcasts are currently available for pre-order in both SD and HD formats.
On November 12, 2016 Almost Dead played the Fox Theater in Oakland, a show that is best remembered for a guest appearance from Grateful Dead guitarist Bob Weir. Another strong point of the evening came in the second set, when JRAD performed a version of “Eyes Of The World” that featured impressive solos from pianist Marco Benevento and bassist Dave Dreiwitz. Pro-shot video of the Oakland “Eyes” was posted on YouTube today by the band:
