Joe Russo Reveals Impressive Lineup For ‘This Is Gonna Be A Blast’ Vol. 4 Concerts

Drummer Joe Russo will present the fourth installment of his “This Is Gonna Be A Blast” concert series next month. Russo will be joined by Medeski Martin & Wood keyboardist John Medeski and Wilco guitarist Nels Cline for improvised sets on Tuesday, February 20 at The Sultan Room in Brooklyn.

Joe Russo, Nels Cline and John Medeski will play both early and late shows at The Sultan Room on February 20 with 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. start times respectively. Tickets for both concerts are on sale now.

“This Is Gonna Be A Blast” is curated by Joe Russo and features improvised performances at The Sultan Room with his friends and heroes. The series launched in October with Russo joined by Marco Benevento, Brad Barr and Andrew Barr. A variation of Joe’s Girlfriends project took The Sultan Room stage for Vol. 2 in December. The next outing comes tonight features Russo, Mike Gordon, Robert Walter and Nick Bockrath.
