Jim James Details May 2019 Tour

My Morning Jacket frontman Jim James will take his longtime solo band on the road for a number of rock shows in May. James will be backed by Dave Givan, Kevin Ratterman and Floating Action for performances of material from 2018’s Uniform Distortion and other JJ solo albums.

The tour begins at Charleston Music Hall in Charleston, South Carolina on May 1 and at The Orange Peel in Asheville on May 3 ahead of an appearance at Shaky Knees in Atlanta. James then brings his band to New Orleans on May 5, Houston on May 8 and Dallas on May 10. Next up are stops in Austin, Oklahoma City, Minneapolis, St. Louis and Washington D.C. The Louisville native continues the tour in Philadelphia, Portland (Maine), Detroit and Chicago.

A pre-sale begins on Wednesday, January 30 at 10 a.m. local times here. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, February 1. $1 from each ticket sold goes towards the Young Authors Greenhouse.
