Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration Returns To The Road For Summer 2026 Concerts

The musical legacy of Jerry Garcia and the Grateful Dead will be honored by an all-star band featuring members of the extended GD family this summer. Seven Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration concerts at iconic Northeast venues have been announced, marking the first extended run of the orchestral shows in a decade.
Longtime JGB members keyboardist Melvin Seals and vocalist Jacklyn LaBranch will be joined by bassist Grahame Lesh, vocalist Kanika Moore, drummer John Morgan Kimock, JRAD guitarist Tom Hamilton and local orchestras at each 2026 Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration performance.
The first Jerry Garcia Symphonic Celebration of the year will take place at Tanglewood in Lenox, Massachusetts on June 30. A few months later, a week-long run of tributes begins in Philadelphia on August 28. Additional shows follow in Holmdel (New Jersey), Bethel (New York) and Canandaigua (New York) leading up to the conclusion of the brief tour in Virginia with shows in Richmond on Spetember 3 and Vienna on September 4.
